Is talking about privatizing Social Security a good idea for Republicans going into the mid term elections?

1 Here's the real link:cbsnews.com/stories/2010/08/14/politics/... is still choosing to run against Pres. Bush. I haven't heard anyone talk about privatizing Social Security in years.

This is the classic Democrat ploy - to say the Republicans are coming after seniors' Social Security. As the campaign goes forward, Obama will probably increase his making up things or pounding on issues that were back in the Bush era. He just ignores who's currently running and attacks Bush.Bush.Bush.Bush.It's Bush derangement syndrome.

But it connects to Obama's voting base - the Dems. He may be turning off independents by this rhetoric, however.

And they didn't want to privatize it. They only wanted to allow people who wanted to to put a small percent of their SS money away.

4 I'd like to see them privatize health care.

5 Psst, DZ, before you get yourself in too deep, you might want to check out some of Sharron Angle's campaign statements. She is a Republican, isn't she? .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
