Cultural respect. That said, Japanese suicide rates are much higher than in the US. And they eat more fish than we do.
I guess no one is sneaking weapons across Japan's unguarded borders... Really, SteveO, the comparison is absurd. EDIT: Well, it's just as absurd as comparing the US to Switzerland. Comparing cultures against one another is kind of silly.
Things don't always translate and fit into the round hole provided for the square peg.
You really can't compare violent crime rates across cultures as different as Japan and the US. Doing so is intellectually dishonest, and quote honestly makes you look very desperate. If you want something more concrete, look at the violent crime rates across this country and compare to the gun ownership rate.
You'll find that there is a correlation between areas with fewer gun owners and higher gun crime. That is directly contrary to the basis of your argument. Again, and as always, you are pathetic.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
