If gun registration always leads to confiscation, why hasn't Switzerland confiscated all its weapons?

Switzerland issues every household a gun! Switzerland's government trains every adult they issue a rifle. Switzerland has the lowest gun related crime rate of any civilized country in the world!

It's a no brainer! Don't let our government waste millions of our tax dollars in an effort to make all law abiding citizens an easy target.

I don't think so. All Swiss men are required to train as a militiaman, I believe one day out of the year. They are all required to own guns, but they are not issued ammo.

So there would be little reason to confiscate weapons there. However, those who think ANY regulation is equivalent to COMPLETE DISARMAMENT will never understand that we don't want all their guns. I guess they're proud of people like Schwarzenegger who owns a tank.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
