Yes it is counted. That's why you have views for unpublished hubs. You can view them yourself.
And that's why I thought I was such a great writer in my first week in hubpages. I checked my own hub all the time and said "wow, 50 people read this today! ".
After a few weeks I realized all of them were sourced from Hubpages. Anyway, after five to six weeks and ten hubs I started to get traffic from google. Now, I am almost completely google. So I'm not reading my own hubs anymore:DI think it would be great if some option was included in hubpages site so that we can exclude our own views from the statistics.
It would be much more informative.
Yes they are counted. @hassan if you want to break down the stats check the 'source' button or go to an individual hub and check the 'stats' . That will give you the breakdown of Hubpages and 'others' :-).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
