Depends on the beverage ... As long as there are no acidic fruit juices involved, the seal on the cap is more likely to change the taste than the flask is, A rubber seal will taint most alcoholic beverages & so will cork, though more slowly. In a good flask with a nylon seal I have had whisky that I forgot about last 9 months unharmed. In a cheaper flask that did not seal as well, nearly all of the alcohol evaporated in les than 1 month.

I put lemonade in a stainless steel thermos once and it tainted the lemonade & damaged the thermos lining is just 2 days. I recommend that you not put mixed drinks in the flask, only straight liqour. Even then it would probably be best to avoid citrus flavored vodkas or cordials such as Triple Sec..

In stainless steel I wouldn't leave it too long. I've found that vodka can pick up the metal taste in like a few days, whereas rum takes a bit longer, so I think it depends on the type of alcohol and how strong the taste of that alcohol is. Sources: College Experiences ;) .

Non-Reactive is the key As long as the container is non-reactive and your drink isn't too acidic, you really shouldn't have to worry about the drink starting to taste funny. I can assure you, no drink could survive long enough in a flask around me to start tasting funny. Stainless is not completely non-reactive, but if you're putting straight booze in it, there's really nothing that would react with the steel.

Silver is an excellent choice (although considerably more expensive) for a flask and not only is it low-reactive (like the steel) but silver has anti-bacterial properties that will keep any nasties from growing in your beverage. Titanium is about as non-reactive as steel or silver, so you're still going to be able to use that without bad taste. The important thing to remember is: don't drink and drive!.

Maybe it's in my head, but it seems to me that most any "adult beverage" in any metal flask develops a funky taste almost immediately. Back "in the day" when I would pack around the alcoholic beverages, I'd use one of the old fashioned leather-wrapped glass flasks. The one I had was fairly large. It held about a pint.

If you're carrying straight whiskey, here in Kentucky (and I would assume other places as well), you can buy almost every brand of liquor in either a pint or half-pint bottle. If you are concerned about breakage, I'd explore ways to cushion or protect a glass container. Sources: Just my personal taste and experience...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
