If I live in an apartment and I rent out the second bedroom, can I evict them for not paying the rent?

Depends on the landlord. But for most it is not something they will continue to tolerate as for being asked to leave more likely you will be served a 3 day notice to pay rent or quit, or a 30 day notice terminating your tenancy.

Paying rent late the second time is enough for the landlord to give you a pay or quit notice. It is unacceptable to repeatedly pay late. It's unlikely you will be allowed to continue living there.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
