That would be no where near 5% And there are 2 billion not 1.6, the 1.6 comes from 2000 census. Approximately 300,000 Muslims across the world are invovled in jihadist groups (i. E Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab, IS, Abu Sayyaf).

Not that all jihadist groups are bad, some fight for a righteous cause, Hamas and Hezbollah for example. So the total number is far less than 5% it is still >0.1%.

I don't think ISIS represents Islam just like the few Muslims who flew into the towers did not represent Islam either; however, after the 911 disaster, many folks flocked to Islam. The same will happen if ISIS is successful. Every day, regular Muslims are joining ISIS...they are growing.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
