If organizations that are mostly political can't have tax-exempt status, why should Tea Party Groups...?

No The Tea party donates to political campaigns, pays for political commercials and attacks their political rivals. A clear violation of the tax exempt policy. The problem is that you can't just focus on Conservative groups when the IRS is doing their audits.

That's a clear bias and a breach of public trust Both sides are wrong here. The Obama administration (and if he didn't know then it shows his lack of leadership) and Republicans for defending the Tea Parties exempt status. Funny tho.

Republicans didn't seem to mind when the IRS audited the NAACP under Bush after they came out against the Iraq war.

These groups WERE NEVER audited. Not one of them. The controversy is about "delays" as to the IRS granting these groups non-profit status for tax purposes.

Of course the debate, was (and still is) the amount of "political activity" these groups were pursuing. They certainly are not charities.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
