If the bible says homosexuality is wrong, how does it feel about incest?

I think it's unfair that marriage rights are limited to same-sex cousin couples in some jurisdictions around the world, and not extended to siblings. Though legal recognition is uncertain, there are several cases where sibling marriages have happened in recent history. In some places marriage between half siblings is actually legally recognized with government approval.

Things like this happen and are highly publicized and not prosecuted in some parts of the world. Eg. A brother-sister couple in Spain parented and conceived two healthy children together and have been living in a spousal relationship for over 30 years; however , they are not legally recognized as husband and wife.

The brother, however, just received legal recognition as father of their two children. I suppose all of the stigma behind consensual incest and sibling marriage is based on ignorance and bigotry. People have an irrational prejudice to consenting adults practicing incest.

There is a stereotype that people who practice incest are mostly from the US states of Alabama and West Virginia. Because of this stereotype they will also believe it is legal in these states as well, which is untrue. However, in the states and countries where incest is actually legal, people seldom comment about the incestuous sexual practices and and the adverse effects of inbreeding of people from these places.

With reliable birth control and eugenic counseling, reproduction is hardly an issue. Besides, all of us are products of incest at one point in history. According to Judeo-Christian beliefs, civilization began through incest and Charles Darwin, the man who developed the theory of evolution and natural selection was married to a biological family member.

Also, incest is legal and/or decriminalized for consenting adults in many EU countries. I find it ironic that people in the USA are more comfortable talking about, and accepting woman's right to have an abortion - something that compromises a human life much too young for consent, than talk about and accept one's right to have sex or marry any consenting adult they choose. Of the two options, which act is victimless?

Which is more harmful and infringes on one's life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness? Why shouldn't consenting adults be allowed to marry anyone they chose regardless of relationship? You decide.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
