The power I'd choose I call Momentia and it is written about in much detail in the link below (too long to quote in this answer): http://www.mahalo.com/answers/social-science/this-has-probably-already-been-asked-and-if-it-has-i-apologize-i-didnt-want-to-do-a-search-and-i-want-to-know-what-you-think Basically it's a movement power but it's not limited to normal movement. I believe what that says about me is that I like to take shortcuts but I'm also prone to finding new ways to do things that other people don't even stop to think about. Most of the time my "new ways" waste a lot of time and energy but I thoroughly enjoy the trip.
Often getting lost along the way as each new turn presents the potential for a new adventure. Take my photography for example. I enjoy it very much but I'm reluctant to gain a formal education to do it because I feel it would spoil the journey.
Along the way I discover why things work the way they do and that helps me put the knowledge to good use in other situations. I know that if I read it in a book and pass a test only to have someone else pat me on the back for achieving what they think are admirable results that I still haven't "learned" anything but how to emulate the results expected. Until I create something new, solely from within my heart (even if it's been done before) will I have learned.
Take one of my latest pieces which I call On Vaire: flickr.com/photos/stereoblind/4390761704/ If I had gone to school and learned about photography I would have known how to set my camera to use the lighting equipment and possibly even learned how to add flames in Photoshop and create the reflection. Doing so would have saved me hours of setup time and added costs. I would have needed 4 less people in the studio that day (fire experts and safety persons), my insurance premium might have even been less overall (my policy and property allows me to do such things).
But doing it my way I actually learned how to set my camera to capture the movement of the flames and that by setting the color balance in-camera I could make her look cold (bluish) while still retaining the color of the flames. Took me some time but I was able to create the look I wanted in the moment and I love the results. No Photoshop, no creative editing - click, done.
flickr.com/photos/stereoblind/4399302866/ But I have to reshoot it because it was just a test shot for a larger venture. So even though I had a great ride and learned a lot (and got a picture I really like), I wasted time by taking my own Path instead of the easy way that anyone else could have taken. In fact, other photographers have gotten more results much faster and more profitably in their career because they did get an education.
I could have even hired one of those someones to get the shot I wanted and saved all that time and money on trial and error and equipment from day one but I wouldn't be a photographer and my life would be pretty dull like it used to be. In conclusion, I like finding my own way but I don't like doing it alone. It's a limitation as well as a bonus. It's my life and the path I chose I'm lucky enough to be with someone that wants to be along for the ride (if you read the power it's the Hold the Door ability).
Not just in the real world either, she comes with me into my imagination and we play there together. It's hard work jumping from one place to the next with no discernible connections, but I wouldn't do it any other way now that I have a superpower. :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
