That is on my mind, as an old teacher, I think that parents should know and do not. Recent studies are appalling: 30 percent of US kids cheat and steal on one hand, on the other hand the perception of parents is far off. There was an experiment where parents and college students are asked if the student drinks or take drugs.
Parents ignore the signs. Why? How?
A.k.a. Is there life after death?A.k.a. What happens when we die?
(Actually, each question is pretty different, semantically, and the difference is important imo. ) Everybody has an opinion on this. Everyone has considered the answer at one point or another.
Societies and civilizations have risen around a shared belief in the answer to this question. Fear of, confidence in, or indifference to the answer influences the decisions people make, the way they behave, the way they live their entire lives. A definitive answer to this question would turn the world upside down.
" There are so many who believe that we are the only ones and that it is our job to seed the universe, while others believe that if our planet was capable of nudging life into existence, there have to be other planets even inside this galaxy that are capable of supporting life. I've always wanted to know, and hope I find out the answer in my lifetime in a way that is nothing like the film "Independence Day" or "War of the Worlds.
I think I would ask the "Is there a God Question" - or if you are even more curious - "What is the Truth in the Bible" - this would cover you on multiple fronts. I guess I'm just not afraid of the answer - it wouldn't destroy me one way or the other.
I think that's what life is about. It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, as long as you've lived a good life. Of course, you shouldn't have acted badly...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
