If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Here Are The Techniques That I Use To Earn Extra Money Anytime I Need To. These Easy Money Making Ideas Can Be Used By Anyone! Get it now!

Actually there is only one thing I would like to change and that is my weight. I'm not over weight but would like to lose a few kilograms to make cycling up mountains easier. Other than that, I'm very happy in my own skin.

A questioned I have asked myself a zilion times. I really don't know. Maybe if I apreciated myself more would be better.

I would go with the flow. Having learned a lesson at work that complaining only angers management, I stay off the radar now. It is sad that it is not looked upon kindly to express oneself and we live in USA.

Nobody wants to hear the truth. I am trying to teach this to my kids so that they will have an easier time in life.

I would like to be able to say "no" sometimes. I end up agreeing to do things for other people a lot of the time and it eats into my own time. Don't get me wrong, I like to help people out when they need help, but sometimes I need to stand up for myself and be more assertive at times.

I think I am too trusting and lack self-confidence. I have never been good at standing up for myself and tend to belief people to easy. That lead to a lot of use and abuse by those that should have been friends, family, coworkers.

I always tried to help people out, but when you need help yourself you will learn who your true friends are!

I would become stupid. It is so difficult being intelligent.

I would love to be one of those people with a natural instinct for business who are just great at making money.

It took me a while to decide because there were way too many choices, but as I surveyed my options, I felt the greatest reward would come from being more grateful for what I already had and not spending so much time pursuing what I didn't have. Thanks for asking! The answer to this question provided much clarity for me.

Lol! Probably my inability to pick a good husband.

The ability to write faster so I could publish a gazillion hubs. I tend to over analyze everything I write.

I agree with what Dave Mathews said. Being intelligent is very hard. You always think a lot :D I wish I was dumber.

The average balance of my bank account. Not that money makes one happy, but it sure makes one more comfortable.

If I could change one thing about myself then I would change my aggressive nature.

I want to become more driven when doing something. I want to be gun-ho. Currently, I am lazy and fearful of trying.

But that is something that is fixable.

I would change my spare tyre, the one round my belly is an off road tyre, I need to change it for a low profile tyre. Lol.

I can't just pick one...I think I would change all the things I have control over changing (my weight, tobacco use, my haircut, etc. ) and let go of the things I cannot change (things about my body that are genetic).

I would want to let things be. I, sometimes, hold on to little things for a very long time, when I should just let it go - this is one thing I would change about me.

I'd say to probably be a little more out going and not be as shy as some situations make me.

Oh that would definitely my lack of control on my anger. It has landed me in so much trouble and often I have regretted my rude behavior after cooling down and moreover it reduces one's ability to think right and end up making decisions that makes us regret for the entire life.

Hmmm...not a single thing. I don't waste any time looking for imperfections. I prefer to focus on my strengths.

To be less hot tempered. I want to be patient with everything but it's very difficult for me to o just that.

I would learn to say "No". Because its my weakness that I can not say "No" to every one.

I would change my laziness. I believe that if I wasn't as lazy as I am now, I would be able to achieve so much more in everything I do.

Nothin' one repair couldn't stop this train-wreck.

I would get back the health I've never protected when I should have... :P.

May be my lack of commitment sometimes. Sometimes I fall late in school, relationship, sport due to the fact that I lose commitment of the may... Which I am working on it. I have managed to be committed but I want to excellent.

I would like to be able to do acrobatics much better.

I would like to stand up for myself more. I sometimes let people take advantage of my kidness.

Oh I would change my temper. Sometimes it's so easy for me to lose my temper and I have to check myself. I would change those times.

I will just leave smoking because I don't like this but unfortunately it is my habit.

I guess the only thing that I would like change in me is my patience. I have no patience to wait because for me time is gold.

I need to gain some confidence in myself. I've always known it's true, but when those closest to me tell me the same thing, then I really realized that it's true.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be patience. I would have more patience.

My laziness ... (Now have to more word so that hubpage approve it, look how lazy I am ... lollzz).

If I could change only ONE thing, that would be to lose about 35kg of weight :)Cheers.

I would probably go blue eyes, because in my opinion blue eyes are the most beautiful.

My hair for sure! Very honestly. They have gone fry after a re-bonded them.

Now they are frizzy too. Tried every possible thing to maintain it but nothing works. Pretty upset about the fact though.

I would be more active and athletic. I think if I was I would have more energy and I would enjoy exercising more.

My negative attitude.. definately. Every day is a battle to think positively when its so much easier to get angry and lash out when things go wrong.

I may as well continue to be self-taught and pick and choose the topics I care about to expand my knowledge base. Does that make sense?

I think I would try to focus and concentrate upon what I am doing instead of thinking too much about what others have to say.

I would not change anything...there are things sometimes I don't like but I learn from them and the most important is to appreciate whart I have and LIFE because each day it is a lesson. So to answer your question ii would not change anything about me, I learn from the things I don´t like to make my life better and happier.

If I could change something it would be my past so I could easily change my future. I've had too many broken homes, no friends and a lonely life, but sych is the life of a writer stuck in her own mind. Happy holidays!

I would want to retrieve all of the offenses I made against God and man.

I'd make myself happier. I guess that's the most important thing.

The always wanting it to be a different time, or a different place.

To be less of a perfectionist. What about you?

Maybe become a little more proactive. It's not that I am not but I sometimes tend to take it as it comes and not bother much to take an initiative.

I always like to work work work... I will make myself to become lazy :).

It would be my height. I love to look like hrithik roshan.

In the outside I appreciate I was born in my eyes perfect without a need for an arm or an eye... But emotionally I would like to change my emotions... They are the weakest target of me and causes much stress...

I would implement a "proving ground" for new comers similar to what Info Barrel does - you have to publish at least ten good articles there that have been read and approved by a moderator before you get "free publishing reign. "Also, I'd sort of like to have a bit of advancement so far as the page layout is designed. I'm not fond of the all white backdrop to everything.

I'd prefer some basic background design and color options - I do realize, however, that perhaps there is some sort of psychological testing that is in effect. So far as advancing the degree of notice-ability of our adverts.

In the polls I'd like to have an option where you could have the ability to allow the reader to select more than one thing, so either have the poll as it is now, or have it allow more than one selection.

There are several things that I would like to improve. When someone needs to contact a fellow hubber, instead of sending an email, there should be an inbox where messages can be left for us. I also would like to see how many votes up or downs I get form my hubs, this ratio will give me an idea if my hub was good, very good or great.

Other than just publishing our hubs HP could help us link to publishers by having a marketing team for those hubbers who meat a certain criteria. In other words they could be our agent.

I wish we could see the source for our views. Blogger has a "stats" function that lets you see where your traffic is coming from. It's helpful to know what marketing tools are working and what is not.

Pamela: there is a 'Traffic Sources' option under the Hubs menu in 'My Account. ' I find that between using that, Google Analytics, and creating different referral trackers for different sites I create backlinks on (e.g. , one for Twitter, one for Facebook, one for forums, etc.), I have a pretty good idea of where my traffic's coming from. I haven't used Blogger though, so perhaps it's able to provide more detailed info.

This is fairly petty, but one thing I'd change is to make it easier for us to look up our previous answers to questions (maybe a 'My Answers' page) - there are some I've responded to that would be great inspiration for a later hub, or ideas that later come back to me, and I'd like to remember a part of the discussion, but it's virtually impossible to locate.(I am fairly new, however, so maybe there is a solution to this that I'm not yet aware of.).

Obviously I would like to have an alternative payment option apart from PayPal added. Please read my hub as an answer to this question (and a comment would be appreciated! ).

Other than this, I support the answer from WTShaw about the proving grounds. I recently flagged a business promotion hub and it was unpublished within a day. This makes sense why Panda hit us so hard.

Well if I coudl change anything, it would be how fried it is. I always bleached my hair since I was about 12 years old. Doing this several years every few months, really took a toll on my hair.

Now that I don't bleach it and have gone to a burgundy color, it is almost unmanageable. It has taken me about a year to get it how it is now, and it's not great, lol! So I would have it healthy again sooner!

The rate it which it is falling out =/ otherwise I love my hair.

When I was younger I had very long, very thick hair. But having gone through some major issues in the last few years my hair has become very thin. I'd love to have my THICK hair again.

And I have tried NIOXIN with no results!

I'm O.K. With my hair now, but when I was younger I was miserable! I have always had thick curly hair, and when I was younger I longed for Long straight hair! Oh, how I dreamed about this!

I tried everything on my hair. I ironed it, (with an ordinary iron! ) I taped my bangs down every night.

I used peroxide on a large clump at the front, hence, bright orange patches everywhere! It was a nightmare, as I lived at the beach, and used to go surfing, and everybody had the sleek, straight non frizzy hair! I would come out of the water loooking like a native bush-man.

When I grew my hair, it grew OUT ways, not length ways. Then one day I decided this was too much, so got it cut really short. And that was the end of the Trauma!

It was a hit! I was the only sleek surfer-girl with extra shor curly hair! And that is my hair story for today.

I'd have her stop barking at every squirrel in the yard.

That he move to the united states very soon! :).

After 41 years of marriage, I wouldn't change a thing. He puts up with me, is always loving and supportive. I like him just the way he is.

I wouldn't change anything. I love everything about him.

I have been married almost 30 years. I wouldn't be with her if I didn't love her, and love her just as she is. I don't want to change anything about her as a person.

The only thing I wish is that I could make her life easier so she would be happier. We never were rich, and we recently lost everything that we have. We lost many loved ones to death and that makes for a hard time emotionally.

I would love to just be able to make her happier, otherwise I love her just as she is.

My weight. The struggle is tiring and I am losing the battle.

There isn't anything I would want to change really. Maybe be a bit better looking or be more world traveled but other then that i'm happy with who I am.

Nothing in particular.. I think be more sociable and assertive in talking with people :).

I would change my financial status big time and travel around the world.

My disgusting tattoo on my lower belly I got when I was 16. Good idea at the time, now after three babies, I look like an amateur graffiti artist took my stomach hostage.

Nothing at all! I'm beautiful just as I am! Well...maybe just one little thing.

I'm way too gassy. :) Ayse.

I would be taller. Currently I am 5'3", I would rather be 6'0" because I know that income is directly related to height.

I would quit smoking cigarettes and make more money doing what I love; Writing! JSMatthew~.

Wow first of great question you could ask it a million times throughout someones life and it would never be the same. Although I live life for the minute enjoy even the depressing parts of it, it makes me stronger as a person. Its all a huge spider web and if you go back and hank from the middle you messed it all up, let that little spider run its whole course and when its done, that litle spider has a beautiful web.. ... .

Till it gets batted down by a broom, END!... point in story live it while its there never look back its never gonna change, learn and move forward.

I do not want to work from home anymore. I want to get an office outside of my home so when I leave the office it is a symbol that my day is o v e r. My work day now starts the very moment I wake up and ends the moment I go to sleep.

Life is what happens between searches and phone calls. I want work to be at the office and home life to be at home. Initially the work from home theme was great.

I got tons of work done, took breaks when I wanted to, worked short days, long days, and the freedom to do work when I wanted was awesome. Now the line between work and no work is g o n e .. just gone. I am always working and even when I am not working I am working on my new plan for the next time I want to work.

Life is too undefined and what is work and what is play is impossible to tell anymore. I am no longer happy to be done with work because the environment does not change. I want to say "Hunny I'm home!" and actually be coming home... not be there already.

My next step in this self-employment project is to move out to an office where work is work until the work is done or the day is over and that will leave home for home things like .. well I dunno I work all the time.. homey types of things I guess. Hopefully this will better draw the lines again and give me that relief I used to get when the day was done and I was h o m e from work. I miss coming home.

Well, that's a tough one. Because my job is that I am - a writer! That's all I do.

I think I'm with Corey on the more hours in a day bit. Oh! I know!

Graveyard shifts! Let's get some of those going!

I would change my job security. I'm a medical transcriptionist and my job is being slowly phased out by techology. Also companies are using transcriptionists overseas that do the work for less money.

I've been doing this for 7 years and I'm losing work because software is doing my job now. I've seen other transcriptionists lose their jobs to overseas companies and technology as well.

I am a teacher (7th and 8th grade), and although I absolutely love my job, there are some things I wish I could change. For example, I think teachers should get paid way more than we do, and I wish that I didn't have to work so many hours "off the clock" to get done what I need to. However, I knew those were the circumstances when I chose my career so I can't really complain about them.

The ONE thing (and something I can complain about) is the role that standardized testing plays in public education right now. This week, my students are taking state-mandated exams to see how they stack up to other kids. Altogether, my 12 to 14 year old students will have taken about 8 hours of standardized tests by the end of this week.

Even as an adult, I would find that task mind-numbing! Then, these tests will be used to evaluate a variety of things, including my job as a teacher. I could talk forever about why I think this practice is ineffective and doing a disservice to our kids, but I won't bore you all with those details.

:).

The location. Would love to be able to work from home more often. Time spent on the road, wear & tear on vehicle, cost of eating out(I know I could bring my lunch, but sometimes you just "need" to get out of the office for a while).

Could add up to major savings, and better attitude.

I only have a tiny request an extra $100.00 dollars an hour and my job would be prefect.

I'm in sales. Everyday, I look for more new clients and communicate with existing clients to make them feel that we love to give them good service and goods. I love my work and I don't mind an increase.

Just got my increase last January so I guess, I may have to wait for a few more months. Anyway, there are two things I want to be changed in my job. First, I hope our sales quota will be more realistic. It is a bit high and we have not reached it for 3 consecutive months.

We are working on our sales to improve this month to see if the quota is realistic. We can't receive good commissions if we don't reach our quota. Next, I want our products to be cheaper.

Most of the time, we can't compete with other companies because of our price. I have discussed this with my boss but he still thinks our prices are competitive. Well, he's the boss, I can only suggest.

I want a boss. I'm not good at motivating myself to work while sitting in a lounge chair in my pajamas all day, with the option to watch videos or just play online. I need someone to be accountable to.

I only need a very small amount of money to pay the bills every month, so it's hard to make myself actually bust ass and make a decent income. I need some structure. I'm just not good at working alone at home.

I have no motivation to improve, to move up the ladder. In fact, it's all too easy to say "I don't want to do that because it's too hard. " I need a Jason.Do you think maybe he could call me a few times a day and crack his whip?

I would change it to an outdoors location, or simulate the outdoors with big picture windows facing the mountains, or the ocean. I would have some water fountains on the walls in the corridors, create a more serene work space....

I would have Taurus and Fondue at the office everyday! =) (the picture reminds me of them).

It would without a doubt be the hourly pay I recieve. I am a cashier/beverage maker for a Bistro that is located in our community college. Besides performing my job duty as a cashier and customer's requesting that I make their drinks, there are many other "tasks" that have to be done daily and I am the only one that does them.

Some of them are 1) make coffee (4 pots) 2) filling all the creamers 3) filling the hot chocolate machine 4) putting out fresh fruit every morning 5) cleaning and prepping the expresso machine every morning 6) fill all the cupboards with cups and straws (cold and hot) 7) Wednsday's Candy and chip's Stock Day ( at least 10 - 12 boxes every week) 8) washing all the glass (windows and coolers) 9) Mondays stock for the entire Bistro comes in 10) make sure everything has been placed in their right spots throughout the day (customers are always leaving things where they do not belong) These are most of the things that I do daily and for the pay (and the request for seveal drinks throughout the day ) I feel my time and experience is worth much more. (not to mention the constant running back and forth to my register). I have even invented a drink named after the school's mascot and they sell very well, making the bistro some very good cash everyday.

I am not however allowed to except tips and I did not recieve any kind of raise for the invention. (kinda of crappy and customer's love the drink hot or cold). I love my job, I just really feel I deserve more pay.

I have spent many years working out of the home at jobs that do not satisfy me. What I want is to work from home, being able to work doing things that I like and give me satisfaction. I am a creative type of person but didn't realize that that is what makes me happy until I was older and stuck. My dream is to make money, working from home, doing what I like best - writing, painting and drawing.

The bonus to this plan would be to be able to work when I please and to spend the days with my dogs.

Hehehe, simply just the payment...I want high salary...!1.

I'd have one. I'm an unemployed travel agent and I loved that job. But things have really changed and most people and companies are making their own reservations on-line.

I'm a freelance writer, massage therapist, and wedding/party DJ. I love every single job that I do. I guess if I had to pick something, it would be to have more clients, so that I could make more money at each job.

Get all the undercover politicians and union thugs out of our education system and replace them with actual teachers more concerned with teaching our youth things like math and science than furthering some political agenda. I don't want my kids being taught an opinion, I want them being taught the skills to succeed in life and logically form their own opinions.

I would definately change the taxes in england, they are quite shocking and expensive!

1. To make the grey suits in the city magically disappear then maybe we could get some sun over here...

2 Abolish the congestion charge how can you charge owner drivers £10 - daily, to drive into central London?!

3. Burn all pay parking meters throughout the UK! Ridiculously expensive and totally unnecessary..

I would close all American military bases around the world, bring all of our soldiers home and put a wall of those soldiers around our borders and at shipping locations, airports and such to protect our own country. Stop spending American dollars overseas and spend it at home.

I'm pretty sure I would un-bail-out the big banks!

The crime rate. There's too much crime in such a small country!

I wish my country would help itself and not everyone else. Its frustrating.....

Ok well apart from the floods in Queensland absolutely nothing - Australia is perfect.

I would change it back to a country of the people, by the people, and for the people. It has become a country of large corporate interests and the people have been forgotten.

Teach our children respect and morality. It's all we can do at this point. Without it we have no hope.

If I could change one thing about the United States of America, it would be to rid the government of corrupt, money-stealing thieves who hold high-paying jobs in Washington D.C. And have the mistaken idea that they are entitled to more than just their paycheck. Dishonest congressmen, cabinet members, and others in elite positions who cheat on their taxes and embezzle billions of tax-payer dollars simply because they CAN must be exposed, removed from their offices, and escorted to small locked cells.

While corruption and wallet-padding has no doubt been a problem in Washington since the first Congress, the problem seems to have escalated out of control. Google Congressmen indicted and several names will pop up. And reports of 162 million stimulus dollars are reported to be unaccounted for and missing, and I would guess that is only the tip.

Pick pocketing the government wallet seems to have become a national pastime for tax cheats, dishonest record keepers, and greedy companies who charge the government $1500 for a 50 cent screw--and no one seems to notice . . .

Or care!

Instead of having the government peopled by criminals who embezzle billions of tax-payer dollars simply because they are accountable to NO one, I would change the system to make those in power accountable for the decisions that affect the entire country. Perhaps jail time for those responsible for throwing the country into financial chaos would make people realize there are consequences for their action—or inaction. Perhaps a longer jail sentence for Congressmen convicted of corruption, bribery, racketeering, and money mismanagement would send the statement that they are not above the law and that rampant abuse of power is wrong.

Perhaps investigations (and lengthy jail time) of companies who make billions of excessive dollars overcharging for services and products sold to the United States would remind CEO’s that fairness rather than greed is what made our country once great.

Unfortunately, in order to change a system now as shattered and broken as Humpty Dumpty, a need to change must first be recognized. But all the king's horses and all the king's men . ..

If we're talking about magic wand sort of stuff, I'd make our public school system much more strict. It's failed 20-30 years of young people, and those young people can vote now. As a result, we've lost quite a bit of the knowledge that the Greatest Generation once possessed regarding civility, duty, honor, and respect.

I'm not saying we haven't made some good progress on some fronts, but unfortunately it seems like large portions of the population don't understand them anymore.

Everyone in the US should have health coverage by using the public option. This will also lower health cost.

Currently 45 thousand die every year because they cannot afford the profit based health care system. Millions more suffer in silence.

The high profit based system is the most expensive in the world and is not the best. This system is major cause of personal bankruptcy.

About 75% of those who are bankrupt have medical insurance coverage and followed all the rules.

So in order to have medical service we have to pay some profit-based insurance company, and then you still have to pay exorbitant fees invented by the lucrative health industry.

The health industry supports many politicians who defend and protect the business interest of the health industry. Many doctors may millions of dollars not just in their lifetime, but every year on the back of the sick. A decent salary should be sufficient for them not millions of dollars every year.

These politicians who are funded by these groups are planning to repeal any improvements in the health care system. The media will tell you who the are.

They will scare you saying the it will make the deficit bad. With millions of American dying and more going broke are they really interested in the deficit or the business interest of certain groups.

Give me a break! They say our grandchildren will have to pay for it.

Yes the grandchildren will pay for it by having poor health.

Actually children normally don't pay taxes.

Corporations with high profits should pay more taxes. The Oil companies, Insurance companies, Drug companies and many other corporations should pay more taxes. That will take care of the deficit.

When they pay taxes because of high profits nobody goes hungry or broke. Give me a break when they insist poor children will be paying taxes. Don't fall for their scare tactics.

Follow the money-trail and see how many became millionaires on the back of the sick.

I would want local law enforcement to be a voluntary civic duty, augmented by a small core of professional cops; sort of like volunteer fire departments. Current professional law enforcement is out of control. I would want to reduce the military and get us off this militarized economy.

United States society has never been one of national security or in the perpetuation of a police state. US society is about money and corruption. I would like to remove the national security umbrella so that we can go back to our true political nature of arguing between conservativism vs. progressivism; about religion vs. education.

That's who we really are. Let's go back to our old political arguments, but get rid of this militarism nonsense.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
