If you could live in a tent for one month anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

I think I would live in a tent that would be located in my house. I hate the outdoors, the flies, the sounds. I know it seems bad, but I'm averse to nature.

Living in a tent would be really fun, I think, and it's disappointing that I wouldn't be willing to do it outdoors. The reason I chose my house as the location, is that it's the only place I feel comfortable. I could foreseeablly set up a tent in New York or Paris in a hotel or some other place with a roof and central air, but I wouldn't know the area.

I wouldn't feel like I was at home, and would undoubtedly get freaked out. Not that I can't travel in general. I love traveling to new places for vacation.

But a whole month in a tent? I would have to do that somewhere that I'm completely comfortable in. I guess my answer isn't what one would expect, but I'm being honest.

I can be outside for a small amount of time, but I don't think I could even spend a full day outside, much less a month. If I had to, though, I guess it would have to be in a place with no bugs, and somewhere that wasn't too hot or humid. I don't know if that place exists, but tell me where it is and I'll move there in a heartbeat!

But no tent for me :).

I would set my tent up in a forest somewhere with a waterfall. I think being outdoors away from the everyday stress and drama, and looking at a beautiful waterfall like that would just be amazing!

My answer is close to None's: I choose Ireland! I am an eighth Irish, on my father's side, for one thing. My father's mom's mom emmigrated from Ireland to Canada--where she married a Scot, scandalous!

Her name was Florence Cady. It would be really really fun to go over there and try to find my distant relatives. My mom did that with some of our distant cousins in Norway, where her dad's grandfather emmigrated from.

I get goosebumps every time my mom talks about that trip, and meeting our distant relatives. I don't know, there is something just so cool about that. Also, I have seen many movies that were filmed in Ireland, including my favorite film, Excalibur.

Man, I may be biased, but that is some beautiful, green country!

I'd choose Hyde Park in London. Don't get me wrong, I love the wilderness, but I stayed one night in a tent somewhere in the Carpathians ( in Europe ) and in the morning we were told that a bear ( a female ) was roaming about the area. My choice is Hyde Park because I love British parks ( they do look kind of wild ) and I would be so close to all the great sights London has to offer.

The only problem is the British weather.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
