I'm gonna stick with living musicians, just so I can hold out the hope that it might actually happen. :-) Drums: Bill Bruford Bass: Tony Levin Lead guitar: Robert Fripp Rhythm guitar / vocals: Adrian Belew Oh wait...that would be King Crimson! Seriously, though, it's so hard to pick, and who I'd pick would depend on what type of music was going to be performed.
If you just told me to put together a band for the kind of music I'd want to make, those four would still be my pick. But for the sake of argument, ruling out all former members of King Crimson, here's my all-star band: Drums - Travis Barker (Blink 182) Bass - Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Guitar - Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Street Sweeper Social Club) Keyboard - Keith Emerson (ELP - still, no one can touch this guy...watch the video) Vocals - Adam Lambert (yeah, yeah, I know...he hasn't really proven himself yet, but I'm gonna go out on a limb anyway -- the guy's got one of the most amazing vocal instruments ever).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
