If you could save your spouse or your child, what would you do? Would it matter how old the child was?

You ask a very tough question. I found it almost imponderable. The only escape I found was when I turned the question around.

I asked myself, If my wife could save my child or me, what would I have her do? The answer was simple, I would have her save my child. Therefore, my answer to your most difficult question, is, I would save my child.

I hope none of us are ever in that situation.

My spouse and I actually got this in a game once as a question. We both that I would save my spouse as we could have more children but at the time, we had no children now that we do I don't think I could do it. I think I would end up sacrificing myself in an attempt to save both.

First, is to always try to save both (wow, i'm a female and i'll try to save my hubby hahaha).. i'll obviously trying to save them both.. either way, I might end up saving the child, because that's what a parent would be inclined to do and that's what my spouse would want.. if it was me, i'd like my spouse to save our child.

I would save my child because...well, first of all I'm a mother and it's instinct but I also know that that is what my spouse would want me to do.

Although I do not have a child yet, I would say as a maternal instinct, I would save my child first, over my spouse. Although. .. This question seems almost too cruel to be even asked.

Well, if it is my spouse or child, I would do anything to protect them. They are a part of my life and a part of my heart. Age would not matter, love is the deciding factor.

I would defend them from all pain if I could.

My husband would kick my butt if I saved him over our children. We share a belief that we have lived more life than they have and they should have a chance to live on, given the choice. I really don't ever want to actually answer this question from experience.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
