With a question like this, you really have to think about all possible factors and options. Most people are quick to give a yes or no without thinking about all possible things. I say a conditional no to an abortion.
I would most likely carry the babies|baby and keep him/her. If I was raped and became pregnant I would not be able to terminate the pregnancy unless there was one factor involved. If I was ill or something terrible was wrong with me, and there was a chance that the baby would go to the rapist, or there was some other factor that was going to give this rapist rights to the child.
If this was the case, I'd really have to reconsider my no to an abortion. I know it's hard to imagine If the rapist was unknown or I could give the baby up for adoption so he would never see the child again, then I would defiantly not have the pregnancy terminated. I would only give the baby for adoption if I thought the rapist would come back to haunt us and try to gain rights and this could be a way to keep from getting an abortion.
This is all something I would have to talk over with a lawyer and I still don't know if I could do an abortion. I know women who have had them and regretted it all their life. This is really a concern, it has happened to women before and I think it is a flawed system.
A guy who rapes a woman doesn't deserve to raise a child. That might seem harsh but it's not. Just ask a woman who has been raped.
Now all that set aside, I would really want to keep my baby. After all most wonderful things in life happen by events out of our control. I would look to this as something bad in my life that gave me one of the best gifts in life.
After all something good can come from something evil and it would be a blessing in disguise.
No. I would not continue with the pregnancy. Because I don't want kids in the first place.
If I do I will adopt. If the kid is just an accedent child then why bother? Its bullshit putting the kid thriough that.
Plus if you don't know the dad....who knows what the kid will be like? Ewwww.
Ask the fetus. None of us would be here if our mother were raped and she decided to abort us. It's a tough decision, but sometimes situations are thrust upon us which are not of our own choosing and we kane the best of it.
Imagine the fetus growing up to become president of The United States. It's the mother who has to, and can, work through the emotional disgust.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
