If you have more than one dog are they the same breed or the same type mixed breed or different?

Mixed breeds, very different I currently have two dogs. Both are "mutts," tho' their breeders would argue that. The Sheltie/spitz cross was actually something her elderly owner had cultivated for years, and she's somehow managed to avoid the worst tendencies of both.

Her breeder, who I was lucky enough to find with the help of the shelter, had only given her up after the death of her husband and serious health issues herself, so we both counted ourselves lucky I'd gone to the shelter that day looking for a second dog. The Alaskan Husky, Hazel for her eye color, isn't a breed recognized by the AKC, but her original owner can trace her lineage back several generations and all were planned. The Alaskan Husky is designed to be a sled dog and tho' most envision a Siberian Husky when they think sled dog, the term "mutt" is probably far more appropriate to describe their looks.

Mine would probably be dubbed a Lab cross by someone looking for a name to put to her looks, but her lineage can be traced back to some of the pioneering sled dogs of Alaska, so while she may be a mutt, she's got some Alaskan Husky royalty within her goofy blond bloodlines. Looking at the two dogs together, it's a hoot. The sheltie could almost walk under Hazy and isn't even half her weight, but bosses her around something fierce.

Personality wise, very different, too, but they seem to get along, tho' would have wished them to be a bit closer in age. Given that difference and the sled dog energy that just radiates from Hazy, who does everything in kamikazee style, that's been the hardest part of having two such different dogs. Hazy's also the lover of the great outdoors --- well, except for at night when the former tough sled dog hear's her soft pillow calling her --- whereas I'm convinced the Sheltie is equally convinced that the house is actually her dog house and she's just kind enough to allow me to share.

Aren't dogs great? Sources: me .

I have two of the same I have two chihuahuas. I know that this breed particularly likes to hang with its own kind. When I knew I wanted a second dog I there was no question that the breed would be another chihuahua.

I really would like a third one. I mean, chis are small enough as it is and I can't imagine that three would be much more difficult than two! This is the first time that I have had two dogs at once.

I've had dogs and cats at the same time, but never two dogs before. If I were going to have multiple dogs of mix brred, I would make sure that the dogs would at least be around teh same size. I wouldn't want say a chihuahua and a great dane, but a chihuahua and a mini pin would be all right.

Different Different, but not a lot different. I got a Golden Retriever puppy nine years ago. He's been a wonderful dog, but he's starting to show his age.My wife and I had been tossing around the idea of getting a second dog, but weren't excited about getting a puppy.

(We have three kids under three years old and didn't want to be house training a dog. We already have enough pee in the house, and I can just see one of my kids eating a dog turd off the floor.) Then a month or two ago, a family we're friends with decided to relocate out of state, couldn't take their dog with them, and asked us if we wanted it. So, we now have a beautiful female four year old yellow Labrador Retriever too.

If a stray dog breed a dog and five hours later you breed to another dog will she have puppies for both dogs.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
