If you pre-order from Amazon, and the date the item comes out is the 29th, how long will it take to ship the item. I want to pre-order an item, if it comes out on the 29th, how long from there will it take to ship? Please, just for people who have already pre-order and received an item from Amazon.

Not someone who has never ordered or is guessing or is commenting on what Amazon states,( it's normal shipping time is) . Thank You! Asked by raggedyme 45 months ago Similar questions: pre order Amazon date item 29th long ship Amazon.

It's worth the chance that you'll get it late. I've pre-ordered a few items, and they have always shipped before the actual release date! This means that usually I'll get the item on the day the rest of the world can buy it, although there was one time I actually got it a day early. In any case, don't forget that Amazon will always give you the lowest price, even if the manufacturer raises it between the time you ordered it and the actual date of release.

I got the Season One Criminal Minds set about $10 cheaper because of this. Even if you get the item a day or two later, the chance of a cheaper price makes it worth it, IMO. And if you're an Amazon Prime customer, hey- no shipping and handling!

.

I've pre-ordered Several books, DVDs etc from Amazon and the item USUALLY arrives on the release date. So, as in your example, if the release date is the 29th, I usually receive the item on the 29th. The agreement retailers have with suppliers (publishers, producers, etc) is that they will not shelve the product or allow it to be distributen prior to 12:01 a.m.

On the release date. In the case of brink-and-mortar retailers, that means they get a shipment of the items which they MUST keep off the shelves until the agreed time. If they break the agreement, they might not get a pre-shipment next time and they’ll have to wait for supply while all the other stores are selling the item.

They certainly don’t want that. In the case of an online or moto (mail-order, telephone order) merchant (which also includes Internet merchants) they are allowed to ship the items a reasonalbe amount of time PRIOR to the release date so that the item arrives to the consumer on or after the release date. Since shipping methods are limited in the accuracy with which they can promise delivery, the item may or may not make it on the release date.

I’ve found, however, that Amazon does a pretty good job getting the items to me ON the release date. I’ve been very pleased with the service on those items.

Shipping on pre-orders is the same as regular orders In my experience, the shipping for pre-orders is the same as, or even quicker than, regular purchases. My latest pre-order received was a children’s book which was scheduled to release 3/25/08. It was shipped the same day, and received 3/26/08.

One day faster than my Prime usually ships. This is not the first time that it has happened either. It seems to be more the case with CD’s and books, than other items (health & beauty).

I currently have 2 other pre-orders pending, both of which are scheduled to arrive in 2 days from release date, just as expected with Prime. But I honestly would not be surprised to see them also arrive the day after release.

I pre-ordered Harry Potter.. It was "released" on Friday and I received it from the USPS on Saturday afternoon. So I'd say you should have it within 1 day of the release. Sources: my experience .

I know I am late to this discussion, but the last 4 games I have ordered for “Release date delivery” have come two days late. To me, that is not acceptable. Amazon blames UPS, but somehow UPS gets packages to me from other retailers just fine and right on time.

Bottom line- if you want a game the day it comes ou DO NOT TRUST AMAZON.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
