If you thought a family member or friend was in a cult, would you try to get them out of it?

If I thought they were in danger, of course. My first action would be to get as much information about the "cult's" beliefs though. I would point out any flawed reasoning, about the cult, in an attempt to convince the cult members of it's invalidity/errors.

I would escalate from there. If one of my kids was trapped my life would become, my existence, would become their rescuing. Everything else would be secondary.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
