As a tutor of students of all ages, I incorporate the website studyisland.com. There are math questions by grade level and topic and when a student reaches 75% proficiency in the topic, he or she can then play games along with doing the problems. If the student gets a problem correct, he or she can take one turn at a particular game.
There are all kinds of games to choose from. It's one way to make learning math fun for the kids. I don't work with teaching reading, but I would suggest having young kids read on topics that interest them.
There is nothing worse than requiring students to read something boring that won't hold their interest, especially during the younger elementary years when kids are learning the basics of reading and comprehension.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
