They were found guilty. I still haven't paid the hospital bill, and it's now given to a collection agency. So I can tell you generally that you usually have one year for a misdemeanor assault and felony assaults 2-3 years. The advise from a cop writing in a forum is : "the longer you wait to file....the more inclined the judge is to believe you didn't think the issue important enough to file immediately...therefore the court will take the same attitude as you did!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
