If you were driving on a dark night, and suddenly a UFO appears before you and an alien asks you to 'get in the ship' (albeit politely)?

Actually, there are way too many factors that must be there at that moment in order to answer this question. I would never get in the UFO if I "felt" or "sensed" that their intentions were not good to begin with. If I did not feel evil intentions then I would ask a few questions to the alien first.

#1. What do they want from me? #2.

How long would they keep me? (in earth years) #3. Why am I the chosen one as opposed to another human being?

I'm sure more questions would arise, depending on their answer and how they communicated the answer to me but I would have to actually be in that situation to know for sure. To answer your question in full, I say yes I would go if everything in the situation felt right to me at that period of time, otherwise I would let them know that I am not the right human and they should go find another human idiot and pick through their brain.

I would not get in ill say "i have to date my partner its already time so lets meet later byeeeeeeeee.

Beam me up cause I'm outta here and hopefully I'm not dinner.

The vision that comes to my mind is from the "Mars Attacks" movie, where the aliens do interesting things with peoples body parts. They act politely but have evil intentions. Perhaps I would go, but I would want to take some Slim Picken's music with me.

If they asked politelty I would go. I think it would be the most extraordinary event in my life and quite an honor to be chosen out of the Millions of people here on the earth.

Sure. I ll get in the ship. I always seek adventure.

Its an offer of a lifetime which I wouldn't miss and regret later. I would get to know them better, and indeed make friends with them.

Tough question. If they seemed friendly and we could communicate I may get in but doing so I would know that if I did it may be the end of me. I just hope they wouldn't clone me and turn me into some kind of alien slave race.

:).

It does not matter if we are talking about aliens or human beings; I am not getting on a spaceship with a stranger. I would try to make a you turn and go away. I know they might follow me and make me get in the spaceship, but I am not getting on a spaceship voluntarily with strangers.

Heck no! Who's to say they have sufficient oxygen on their ship or at their destination? Plus, even though AT&T is upgrading their network I'm pretty sure my iPhone wouldn't get good reception in another galaxy.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
