I have several ideas for children's stories that I may someday work on. They all involve classic fables and folklore with a modern twist for today's youth. (Probably for ages 9 - 12, after age twelve I was reading adult books anyhow).
Gardening. I read a lovely children's book about a child watching a crysalsis until the butterfly came out (over a period of days), and would love to write one like it about watching plants grow.
I wrote one for young children, and added it to my hub page, about pets... Because I love animals...
I like to draw allot if im not writing I do this an it some times turns out to become a story idea for me. So anyways, one day I had a great drawling of a mouse, and it was weird but it was like I saw her whole story in front of me. * Lillian the mouse , I call her I have yet to do anything with her yet due to another story being written .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
