Book - Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Movie - Monty Python Search for the Holy Grail (funniest movie ever) and person?Hum. A toss up between Viggo Mortensen and Hugh Jackman.

Yes , the film "RAN" is tragedy ; the film was loosely based upon Shakespeare's "King Lear" . A wonderful film as are all of Akira Kurosawa's films . He was one of the most influential film makers of all time .

I wouldn't take pillars of the earth - I couldn't get through it once; let alone multiple times. I'd take a field guide to whatever area the island was in; not sure of the movie - was there a movie made of the Kon Tiki or Ra expedition? I'd like to say I'd take my wife; but I know there's a chance she would not be able to manage; so I'd want a local outfitter.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
