In the US Christianity was indeed initialy imposed by the Whites upon the Africans. On the other hand, a modified, "Africanised" version of Christianity was also of fundamental importance to the Civil Rights movement. Of course, outside of the US, one of the first nations to adopt Christianity as the national religion was Ethiopia - a "black" African country.
------ Regarding Malcolm X and that particular quote - this from the early time when he was blinded by the racism of Elijah Mohamad's sect. It is reported that upon returning from the Haj, he recognised race for the illusion it was and broke with that movement for mainstream Islam. The accusation has been made that his assassination may well have ben due to this change of heart.

No..Europeans weren't originally Christian. The Romans played a large part in Christianity, but they only represent a part of Southern Europe. You could say that it was the "Roman's Religion".
Before Christianity had spread, even Europeans were forced to convert to it at pressure of the Romans.
