Luceine, valine and isoluceine These are purported as "muscle sparring" amino acids. They each work differently, but they sometimes work together. You get these aminos from any complete protein, so adding them may not help much, if at all.
First thing in the morning? That’s when you should be getting your whey protein. Whey is digested much faster than other proteins(di,tri and oligo peptides), and it contains BCAAs anyway.
You shouldn’t be taking amino acids with meals, period! Amino acids compete for absorption, so they’re to be taken by themselves, on an empty stomach. So, one hour before you pre-workout drink, then one hour before you pre-sleep drink.
Pre-workout protein should consist of whey protein. Post-workout should be whey protein. And pre-sleep should be casein protein.
Casein protein gels in an acidic environment (curdles), making it best for extended delivery and nitrogen retention. Flax? As far as when you take it, there's no science that I've seen to support anything in the way of timing.
Some important factors are what it's consumed with. NEVER supplement any lipids (fats) with any form of fiber, or within a couple of hours either way. The fibers bind to the lipids and transport them out through your feces.
This happens in the intestines, too, so supplement at least two hours after fiber and a MINIMUM of three before. Lipids take longer to digest, and slow the digestion of other macronutrients (carbs, proteins). Now, get the most out of the flax seed oil.
Lipids are broken down into triglycerides when digested. These triglycerides must be emulsyfied to some degree (tiny droplets dispersed into water). Enter lecithin Lecithin IS a fat emulsyfier (careful if you're allergic to soy.
Most forms come from soy), so it actually ensures you'll get the most out of what you ingest. A big glass of water within two hours will give the emulsyfied fats a substrate to mix with. Now!
On this subjesct, since you're trying to get big. Watch your intake of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Yes, you need them, but too much will effect the production of prostaglandins (actually hormones).
In short, these prostaglandins help make you big, mostly by effecting hypertrophy, following microtrauma (building muscle after you've broken it down. Sources: I've been lifting weights for 24 years and done extensive research .
Both With BCAA's 4-8 grams before a work out and 4-8 grams after is optimal. Lesser amounts are effective but if increased performance and recovery are needed a higher dosage is more effective. Taking BCAA's immediately before or during a strenuous workout or cardio session will increase performance.
Taking them after with a post work out meal or recovery drink will help speed the replacement of BCAA's in the muscles, speeding muscle recovery and preventing overtraining. For optimum results in supplement form, it is desirable to take your BCAA's separately from the other amino acid groupings for the fact that they totally dominate the race for entry into the bodies' systems. I think you do not know what amino acids are. I would have to look it up to see how many amino acids there are...BUT when you take them all, you have a complete protein. Branched chain I do believe means that they can inter-act better and work in your body faster.
Many body builders use the powdered whey drinks because it supplies the same thing. You are taking a complete protein, which in essence is the same as a rare steak (without needing to be digested, and free of the fats, fibers, etc. )When to take? This is a normal food supplement and the bottle should tell you when to take it.
Also re: the flax oil. If you are going to take flax, please get the whole food! That would be to buy flax seeds (in any health food store), grind them in a coffee grinder and use about 1 heaping Tablespoon per day, in drinks/on foods/ great on hot oats.(Store GROUND flax seeds in the frig.) P.S. Ground flax will keep your bowels regulated..
1 tbirdmama, regarding your answer "Amino Acids":No, that is certainly NOT what branched chain amino acids are. And what protein drinks don't have to be digested?. ALL protein must be digested!
That's why it's protein and not free-form amino acids. Protein IS amino acids, bound by peptide bonds. This user has been banned from Askville.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
