Absolutely no regrets. Saving money in todays economy is very important to me and paying for the land line has no advantages to the calls being made. Although I pay for a land line for another household I have reduced the plan to its lowest level because the occupants all have mobile phones and the use of the land line is minimal.
The $14.95 plan to keep the phone is more of a security blanket at this time. With time this line will be cashed in. Great Question NCBler.
No regrets really. I now have phone service through my cable/internet provider. This may qualify as a land line, but it's not a traditonal land line.
I rarely use it, but the phone number matches my locality and perhaps adds credibitly to my resumes and vitas any other documents or applicaitons I fill out.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
