Ignore failed data source in SSRS 2008?

I'm not sure if there is a way to do what you're wanting within RS, but here's my idea.

I'm not sure if there is a way to do what you're wanting within RS, but here's my idea: If you can call from a SQL database - Set up linked servers on a sql server. Wrap the call in a stored procedure and return an alternate data set if the call fails to the linked server. You could probably do something similar if there is an oracle server you can use.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
