I don't know him, so I can't say if he is interested in marriage or not. However, if he's been happy with the status quo for 4 years; I wouldn't expect that to change. Still - he is the best person to ask.

It's only unrealistic if he has other plans. The older you get the less the age difference means, if he is mature.

He's pretty mature, but when I ask, he says he doesn't know if he's comin or going... not really able to answer that question about marraige now, but says he loves me and see himself w/o me. I guess that normal for his age? He said he want to wait till he close to 30, which is fine, but how long is too lng to date in your 20's?

Since any good relationship needs to be 50/50, you ought to sit down and talk it over with him. Listen to what his needs are and tell him yours, then see how you both can work together. Do you intend to have children one day, and does he want that too?

It's nice to have clear, future plans on the front burner (or back burner) to look forward to and maybe even save up for a better place. Just my two cents.
