All you can do is wait, I'm assuming you're behind the list and they have low priority for you since you barely qualify on the AFQT(Including Line scores). Someone with a higher AFQT score(and Line scores) would have higher priority compared to you since they qualify for one of the higher demand jobs. Another example of priorities to them: someone with a college degree enlisting would have higher priority over someone who enlisted with a GED and college credits.
They're sending you to the consult (Meeting specialist) who will recommend or not recommend for the waiver. You will need a higher up's approval for the waiver (Most likely the SG I'm not too sure about this area.) So you would be doing more waiting even after you meet the specialist. All you can really do is wait.
Waiver requests take a long time to be processed. I've known of people that have waited nine months.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
