Im going to connect my laptop to my lcd tv via vga cable but is there anyway I can use a keyboard?

The VGA signal from your laptop is analog. The HDMI connection on your TV is expecting a digital signal. You cannot take and analog signal from your laptop and convert it into a digital signal for your TV with just a cable.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
