Halloween is my favorite holiday, heck I completely skipped Thanksgiving and Christmas the past 2 years. I LOVE monster movies, the old black and whites, none of todays blood and gore fests. They played with your mind back then, DON'T OPEN THAT DOOR!

My fave movies are, when in a good mood it's comedies mainly or very witty dialogue. I'd give almost anything to have a series of the B-movies featuring Frank Morgan as I like his style of witticisms. Otherwise I go for the high dramas such as "A Man For All Seasons" which is superb.

For Hallowe'en there's a nice, moderate one "The Uninvited" with Ray Milland and Gail Russell, kinda spooky but not messy, lol. imdb.com/title/tt0037415/combined com/title/tt0037415/combined.

Comedy + sci-fi. Really, my wife and I agree that for $10+ in a theater, only sci-fi will have the special effects to make the big screen worth the bother.

It depends on the mood really:=)when down a good comedy, when spirits up a good drama:)I'd recommend a great Indian movie "Three idiots"(great movie/drama&comedy)or "Bridget Jones's diary" is my favourite of all times(CAN WATCH IT NON-STOP)! Or even "Love Actually" is a great one! .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
