Sorry. I don't really know why you'd ask a question like that here anyway. You didn't say where you were located or whether you wanted a new boat or used, and even then- Google is the easiest tool for finding out where thay sell boats in your area.

We don't sell boats here, this is a question and answer forum. Try Craigslist if you want used.

My husband had your same desire. He wanted a small single person sailboat. After a lot of reading he chose the Laser model na.laserperformance.com/homeHe wanted a fun sailboat and the Laser is very common around the world.

Because the style hasn't changed over the years (it is used for competitive racing) it was fairly easy to find used ones for sale on Craigslist as well as our local Buy, Sell and Trade publication. While many are fairly expensive, he found one with all the accessories and sales for a very reasonable price. One thing we like about the boat is that it can be easily moved out of the water for winter storage on our float cabin deck.It can be a little tricky to sail and he was told to expect some upsets.

I agree both on the Laser, and with looking on craigslist. You might even try putting a want ad in craigslist, in case someone has a sailboat they are not enjoying but hasn't quite decided to pass it on.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
