I'm looking for a solution to ditch Comcast TV (and keep the internet)?

If you run a business out of your home, you can get a better rate than residential, but otherwise ignore this statement. The three alternatives to Comcast TV are (and keeping in mind no dish): 1.) If you're lucky enough to be in a Verizon FiOs area, get it. It is hands down the best technology on the planet.

Xfinity is a sham, it has nothing on FiOs. FiOs is lightning fast, and you can bring your internet over to Verizon (see below) as well as phone lines (unless you're in a soft switch area-look into that). 2.

) Try Bresnan-it's another cable telecom provider that is supposed to have good rates and good customer service. bresnan.com/ Here's what one customer said about Bresnan: ---quote--- "I have experience with only one other cable company other than Comcast. I had absolutely great success with this company.

They offered the exact same services as Comcast at a comparable price, but the good thing about this company was...well, everything. The customer service I received was excellent. Not once did I come across a representative of Bresnan that rubbed me the wrong way.

From technician to phone rep, I was treated as a valued customer. The function of the cable and internet was second to none. I never had any issues with my cable.

The DVR worked consistently, and the On Demand service was flawless. If you have the opportunity to use Bresnan, I highly recommend it. " 3.

) Here are some other companies to check out: bullseye, onecommunications, broadview. My advice-get all your telecom on one bill. If you have a comcast. Net internet account (the #1 reason people want to stay with comcast internet), just use this site- trueswitch.Com to forward all your emails to your new address; it notifies the sender that you have a new email address.

In the future, it's better to have a 3rd party email (like gmail, yahoo, etc. ) so you're not locked into comcast like that! The reason I say this is that after working for a telecom company myself, the thing I see most with customers is they like to have the service that provides the least amount of stress and simplicity. Bring it all over to another company-you'll be happy you did!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
