I'm looking for the title of a movie but I don't know when it was made or the title. I think it may have been released in the late 70's to early 80's. It was about a man who witnessed a murder and hid from the men who were searching for him to kill him by disguising himself as a high school student.
I remember the movie was called "Running Scared" but when I look up that movie title, I don't find what I'm looking for. I know it had a Roy Orbison song in it during a scene where the main character is skating with a high school girl he's falling in love with. For "Running Scared" (1986) movie in imdb. Com, you check out the left side links where it says "Did you know? " and click on the link for "Soundtrack listing", then it takes you to the list of songs played in the film.
I notice it has that song title, see:imdb.com/title/tt0091875/soundtrackPerhaps it's a small episode in the film where skating takes place. I suppose you'd have to view the entire film to be sure. Hope this helps a wee bit!

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't help. It still gives me the wrong movie, but I will keep trying.

One of my many favorite movies, com/title/tt0093186.
Also, I believe the song was Crying Over You.
Thank you sooooo much! It makes sense that I couldn't find the movie since I had the wrong title! Cmms 2 months ago .

I'm looking for the title of a movie it's a british film I think about a girl who becomes sick or something and she goes into this alternate world with this lighthouse. She meets a boy but something is trying to destroy the world she's in and it has kind of a dark tone to it. Saw it forever ago, can't remember much besides it was very visually interesting Asked by becee 27 months ago Similar questions: title movie Entertainment > Movies.
Paperhouse You’re thinking of Paperhouse, one of my favorite movies. Anna, an 11-year-old girl, starts having seizures. When she does, she enters a strange world based on a crude drawing she made of a house.
When she wakes up, she adds things to the drawing; when she falls unconscious again, the things that she’s drawn are in that strange world. But they don’t always work the way that she expected. And as things start turning scary, she find that she can’t erase things from the drawing... A lighthouse is featured prominently in the story.
And Anna draws a boy, who turns out to be rather sad because she didn't draw legs for him. This is definitely the movie you're looking for. A unique film, not horror (although it was marketed as such) but rather a sort of strange dark fantasy.
Paperhouse hasn’t been released on DVD for the US market, and I fear that it never will be; but if you scour the P2P networks diligently enough, you can find it. Incidentally, it was based on the novel Marianne Dreams by Catherine Storr. Apparently the BBC made a TV series (Escape Into Night) from it in 1972, and it was even turned into an opera!
According to Wikipedia, the TV series was more faithful to the book than Paperhouse was. But I haven’t seen the series, and it doesn't seem to be available in any format. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
