I'm female, late fifties, look ten years older (sigh! ), and don't know where to begin. I need someone who can take a look at the whole (somewhat dowdy) package and let me know what can be fixed with better-fitting clothes, what might take a year of sincere effort with a good personal trainer (I'm ready to do the work), or what might require surgery.
Someone who will know where to send me for hair treatment that will make my hair, which is not just prematurely gray, but quite white, look appropriate for my age and energy level. Someone who will listen to my preferences and take into account my own (mostly casual) lifestyle. What kind of professional should I start with who can coordinate a whole new look for me?
I'm open to specific suggestions and am willing to travel. Prefer Midwest U.S. Thank you! Asked by wouldbedj 32 months ago Similar questions: ready complete makeover fitness plastic surgery hair wardrobe teeth start Lifestyle > Beauty.

Start at a gym with a personal trainer Don't listen to the naysayers on the discussion board. This sounds like a great idea. You deserve to spend some time and money on yourself.
I don't know it there's one person who can make you over. You might have to use several different people. Start looking for a personal trainer.
I'd visit a couple of gyms and meet with the trainers and figure out which one is good for you. Then I'd try looking for an image consultant or personal stylist. Maybe you could do a google search in your area.
I found one in Chicago at this website marianrothschild.com/ . You can also look for a hair dresser by looking at your newspaper or magazine's best of section. Some newspapers take a poll once a year and publish the results.
Some department stores have personal shoppers - maybe you could ask for their help for your wardrobe. Good luck! Karen .
1 Id start at a bank, checking your balances and credit....cuz this is going to get EXPENSIVE! .

My son is trying to find a book. About Americas obsession with plastic surgery and beauty.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
