I dint understand your question properly, up to my understanding, I think you may not created a managedBean for your imageCropperBean in your faces. Config . Or else just declare an annotation before the cropperBean Class managedBean.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
