Edit and search... No there is no way to edit your questions (answers or discussion posts). Once they have been submitted they are permanent unless Askville deems them a violation of the TOS and removes the question. As for a search function.
This is something that has be requested my many. Askville even included it’s possibility as a question in a survey it sent to some askvillers a while ago. I’m thinking it might be included in the next round of improvements.
But there is no way of knowing when it will show up. I'm thinking one day we will log in and say "Wow, that's cool" just like we did when the last round of improvements were made.
No and maybe soon The answer to first question is no. Once you submit an answer, there will be no change allowed. In fact, this should stay as it is now.It is like a final you are taking in school, once you turn in the paper, the only thing you can do is to wait for your score.
So, read your own answer carefully before you submit it. About the "search" function, although there is a "search topic" feature now, keyword search is still not available yet. I think Askville is working to provide that solution.

Edit and search No, and no (at least not yet). Right now there is no way to edit a question, an answer, or a discussion comment once it's submitted. My suggestion that I hope they take is to allow editing up until the time you get the first answer to your question, like Ebay allows edits until you get your first bid.
We hope even more for the search function, and I expect that will happen eventually, too. In the blog, they tell us "Eventually, we will allow users to search through Askville's database of Q&A just like a search engine. " So, I'm sure with time we will see that function.

Nope... No edit functions for anything on Askville,and probably never will be. If you’ve neglected to include pertinent details,you can post those in the discussion,but there’s no guarantee anyone will look there,I don’t ’til I’ve answered the question. There is no edit but... ...you can go to the discussion board with any additional information. In some ways, that is BETTER than edit. I hate the lack of editing function because sometimes I make a spelling or grammar error and then I can't go back and fix it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
