Night club, no idea - depends on the show for sure and where. Lunch can cost you from $1 up - - Thai restaurants are very reasonable, $3-5 for a decent place - foreign restaurants, especially chains, like to keep in line internationally. My favorite place in Bkk is Italian and it runs me abt $8-!0 but it is extraordinary.
Taxis are probably more reasonable than any major city in the world - most local rides cost me $2-3 in bkk - - busses also extremely reasonable. I had a VIP bus going from Bkk-CM - seats were business class size w/4 levels of massage - hostess served soft drinks. I did not go the entire way to CM - but abt 6 hours worth for just under $15 - - Also - I don't know any unsafe neighborhoods.
And also, things get less expensive outside of bkk and even cheaper in the ocuntryside outside of tourist areas Great movie theatres - $4.50 and nejoy the movies - a great break from the heat. I live here now but never missed a chance to take a break and duck into a movie on my visits.
A 650 ml bottle of beer in a shop 35 to 50 baht Archer beer 35 Leo 45 Singha 50 baht in average restaurant 90 to 120 Baht a bottle a meal 100 to 150 Baht as for a taxi it depends on how far but only get a meter taxi or you will get ripped off if the driver does not turn on the meter stop him and get out of the car buses are not usually used for short journeys in places like Pattaya they have pick ups with seats and a standard 20 Baht fare most clubs no charge to enter it is put on the price of drinks and bar charges Cinema don't know sorry.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
