In honor of Trey Anastasio's 45th birthday (9/30/1964), what is your favorite song by Phish?

This question is a GREAT idea, acb! ;-) I'll do the segue thing and note that I LOVED when they jammed with Bruce Springsteen at Bonnaroo this summer - Mustang Sally, Bobby Jean and Glory Days! I downloaded 'em all from their website.

I'll also tie in to this week, and say that I like to hear them do Avinu Malkeinu. (That is a well-known prayer which Jews said this past Sun-Mon for Yom Kippur, asking God for forgiveness. ) My daughter has been known to get "Farmhouse" stuck in her head for days - and then it gets stuck in my head.

Finally, I'll note that I like their in-concert covers and goofy drop-ins - I think I heard them (NOT in person) whistle the Andy Griffith theme, and I know I've heard them cover "Rock 'n Roll" (Lou Reed).

TAB AT THE TAB captures the band at the peak of its powers and includes live renditions of classic TAB songs and numerous new compositions. Building on 2009's stripped-down four-piece lineup - lead guitarist/vocalist Anastasio, Russ Lawton (drums), Tony Markellis (bass) and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards) - TAB added horns back into the mix for its most recent foray. Longtime TAB members Russell Remington (tenor saxophone and flute) and Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet and vocals) were joined by newcomer Natalie Cressman (trombone and vocals), just 18 and on her first national tour.

The instrumentation, vocals and arrangements prove a formidable combination, from the scintillating opener "Money, Love and Change" to the tender "Words to Wanda" (marking the song's first appearance on record). We've also got t-shirt bundles available with the CD. Click here to pre-order today!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
