Childs support in any state should mean anything that supports the child weather it be cell phones,school books ,clothes ,light bill, rent, food ,gas, because without these things the child would be without something . Some people have the idea that child support should be handed over to the child at a certain age like 16 and up I don't think this should happen because that money is to be used for the childs welfare not for them to have in thier pocket and blow it . I pay my rent and thier cell phone bills and buy the extra food we need and if any is left over I give them a few dollars for thier pocket for school movies and entertainment.

My kids father is really good with support he pays his child support plus give them more money on the side for clothes and shoes and stuff I haven't paid for their clothes in four years or thier shoes from the child support I get because the father does this seperatly .

I would think that child support payments should cover the necessities. Of life. But I believe that the parent who has custody of the child decides where the payment should go.

I would suggest that the answer lies with a lawyer. One problem that would need to be addressed and that is proof that the actual support payment is used for cell phones, etc., rather than the other parent's money, .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
