In setting up my Bose 321 GS II I accidentally set my TV Video Format as PAL not NTSC.Can't get back to System Menu Help?

In setting up my Bose 321 GS II I accidentally set my TV Video Format as PAL not NTSC. Can't get back to System Menu Help When I try to get my system menu up as per directions, nothing happens on TV, but LCD on system indicates I should be able to see on TV screen. My screen is black - Have 42" Panasonic Plasma and everything else works fine, and my 321 did also, prior to my entry with PAL (European monitor format) .

All the sound is fine - just can't see any picture when running a DVD. NOTE: when I accidently made the incorrect entry, the TV screen went black and is still in that format now. Help?

What initally created the problem, was when I tried to change system after having a problem with every DVD playing in Black & White. After checking connections, etc. , it still was in B&W.. I then thought I could be smart and change settings - well, go figure! Just press that big round center button located at the upper part. If I can remember it right I think Bose detects automatically the system. If not just press that big round center button.

This will bring you to the menu. From there just scroll. You'll find your way.

Or better yet find the MANUAL. It would be a lot easier. Sources: Find the MANUAL first. It would be a lot easier.

2 Thanks for the above response; however, in the meantime, I contacted Bose and they were extremely helpful in walking me thru the entire process. They stayed on the phone with me making sure all was taken care of as well as another problem that I thought I had with the system. They are honestly the 'most courteous, most helpful' customer service I have ever dealt with and I do not pay for the service, (with the exception of paying for the system).

My first trip was to stop by the local sales office, which tried to help, and then offered me the main Bose number for their tech department. You should give them a try if you are having any type of technical problem. They seemed more than happy to be of service.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
