In your opinion, whats the best way to figure out a illegitimacy?

It is as legitimate as any of the DNA testing services. The company that did mine said 2% - 5% of the people who take the test get unexpected results because of "hidden adoptions or infidelity". You have 64 4th GGPs and 128 5th GGPs.

It is physically possible that 32 of those 5th great grandparents were Italian, but pretty unlikely. Figuring you are 20, give or take 10 years, and an average of 30 years between generations, your 5th GGPs were born: Self 1995 Parents 1965 GP 1935 1st GGP 1905 2nd GGP 1875 3rd GGP 1845 4th GGP 1815 5th GGP: 1785 Right after the American revolution ended. People born in 1785 usually married someone from the same county, not an Italian, unless they were in Italy.

So, you could be adopted, your mom could have had a fling, you could have made a mistake in your research, or the DNA test could be flawed.

My sister and I did one of those DNA tests. As sisters we should come out with the same results. We didn't.

Apparently I'm part African, she isn't. I also supposedly have Greek ancestry but she doesn't. But she has Scottish ancestry which I don't.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
