The link from the previous answer to bls.gov's info on DMS is the one of the most helpful. It has lots of general information about it as a career. Here's another site as well: http://www.ardms.org/default.asp?content... It is very important that you find an accredited DMS program.
You can check here by state: (select diagnostic medical sonography in the drop-down): http://www.caahep.org/Find-An-Accredited... Once you find an accredited program, contact the school(s) you're interested in and see if you can meet with someone in the DMS department. They'll be able to answer an additional questions you have about it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
