Depends on style and quality. Electric or not? $5,500.... It seems too much if you ask me.
Hoever if a lot of carpentry needs to be dine to prep it will bring the price up. Here at home we get at least three estimates for everything we hire people to do for us. Sears installs them.
See link:Lowe's has them, too. Make sure to check the references of the people you are hiring making sure they are licensed and have insurance. Shop around and google "garage doors reviews".
I checked my membership with Consumer Reposrts and they do not have garage doors. Sorry. Research it before you make your final decision.Com/?

That must be one fancy door! You can get a basic double garage door for under $2K, but if you think the fancy door will increase the value of your home by more than the difference in the price, then go for it. In a smaller home with a front-facing garage the garage door is a large percentage of the front exterior, so if it significantly increases the curb appeal of your home it should be worth several thousand dollars in resale.
Thank you both for your answers! The garage door covers around 40% of the front of the house. There will be minimum electrical work.
$5500 covers garage door and installation of door and opener. The reason I'm considering the higher price door is for curb appeal. Every house on the street have the standard rectangle panel design, which I feel is a bit bland.
I have shopped around and the prices go up for anything a bit more stylish, though I will take the suggestion to do some more research and hopefully I can reach a decision soon. Thanks! TripC 15 days ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
