Is a grilled lean bacon sandwich (on brown bread) bad for you for a light evening meal?

As another response pointed out, this is not necessarily a "light" meal. First, bacon in every sense is simply bad for you -- the same goes for pork in general. Try switching to turkey bacon which only has about 20 cals per slice.

This is a leaner meat with more protein (which is really what you want before you fast for 8 hrs in your sleep). In regard to the brown bread, a common misconception is wheat bread or multigrain bread is all good for you. So long as the first ingredient is "whole wheat flour", you're okay.

Anything else is simply white bread dyed brown with added sugar. And if you would like eggs, use an egg substitute (i.e. EggBeaters).

They have all the positive health benefits of normal eggs, are made from real eggs, but do not have the cholestoral, fat content, or calories that you would find in cartoned eggs. As an alternative, I've found protein shakes or bars to be best as a late night snack. Light popcorn with no added butter, wheat toast with (sugar free) peanut ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
