The argument for making the hiring of illegals, well, illegal is that it does take jobs away. Not just from Americans, but also from those immigrants who come to the US legally. There is also the fact that most illegals are not paid the same wages as legal workers, by requiring employers to verify status, you also require them to pay good wages, as well as offer benefits.
Realistically, it benefits everyone if the laws are followed.
What is incomprehensible to me is the fact that an illegal would be hired in the first place. I know this happens, but why aren't green cards checked? If all employers checked for these things when hiring, it would be better, but yet again, the employers who don't and are found with illegals in their employ lose their employees.
This has become as much as problem as the use of drugs. It should be a crime to hire illegals. Most definitely.
How dare they come here to take the jobs of our own people who need the work and ARE citizens. Another mystery of US history.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
