It just took me forever to answer a question. First, when I was done and added a widget, when I previewed the answer, all but the first 2 lines had disappeared.(an Ajax error) Then I rewrote it and when I previewed it, the answer section was blank. Since I had copied it in case it disappeared again, I pasted my answer in the answer spot.
When I previewed the answer, my answer was repeated twice. So I went back to erase one and only one showed up. Finally, after repeated efforts to correct this, I erased the only answer that showed up in the preview so that there was no answer in the spot.
When I previewed it again, only one answer showed up. I'm worn out! I better not get a poor rating after all that!
I deserve at least an A for effort! This has never happened to me before... what gives? Asked by Kyasi 50 months ago Similar questions: problem answering questions Askville morning Amazon > Askville.

I have had innumerable problems I had one of my usual problems - a connection reset - around 3 hours ago. On the last question I answered, I was trying to add italics to a word I had typed in a paragraph, and no matter what I did, the answer editor would not format it correctly. My first avenue of attack on Askville problems is to blow my Internet cache.
They are always changing things here, and I've had problems go away after getting rid of any old pages that might have been cached. I've seen some snippets of code in the pages I look at here that suggests that they (Zon's web designers) fool around with caching sometimes. I can say that I am having fewer problems now than I was several weeks ago, when I could not answer anything.
Just a few days ago, I regained the ability to use FireFox here at work, but I’m not sure it’s because of Zon’s efforts or if my network administrators fixed some problems with the proxy server, that were almost certainly contributing to my troubles. The support team here was kind enough to email me that they were aware of my problems and were working on them. A personal note from you to them might help; use the Give Us Feedback link.My guess is that they’re tweaking something today.
Be patient. We are Beta testers. Maybe all of those Quest Coins will actually be worth something someday.

1 Dude, this happens all the time. If it hasn't happened to you before, you're just plain lucky. Me?
I don't learn from my mistakes. I forget to copy before moving on all the time. Generally if I've taken the time to write out my answer once or twice and it gets deleted I have to put that question aside and come back later. It's like all that effort is just gone and it makes me sad.

2 Yeah, they're screwing around with something today. I just got a 503 error, Apache server - definitely not proxy or settings related.

As I don't do the copy an paste thing either.
I had that happen to me a few days ago, and other weird things happening lately also, not just the ajax error. It makes it real frustrating trying to answer questions on here! There are times all I do is look at the questions and not even try to answer and take the chance of it disappearing. As I don't do the copy an paste thing either.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
