1 If you don't have a particular loyalty to the Jitterbug phone, you might want to look into the Go-Phone plan from AT&T/Cingular. They have no monthly charge, no roaming charge, no long-distance cost. There are 2 plans - one is 10 cents a minute but there's a $1 access charge for each day the phone is used.
The other plan is what I have. Minutes are 25 cents each and that's it. No other charges.
If you pay by the year, it's $100 flat. That gives you a year of coverage (or until the $100 is used up at 25 cents a minute which will take me forever cause I seldom use it. ) You can also buy 90 days of coverage for $25, $50 and $75.To keep the account alive you have to add on minutes before the time is up but any unused minutes carry over.
They offer free voice mail, text messaging and call forwarding. AT&T stores sell the phone/plan as do Radio Shack and other places. I recommend the AT&T stores cause they know what they're doing and they activate it free.
You can message me if you want any more details.
2 I forgot to add - one of the biggest advantages is that AT&T covers so much of the country it's less of a problem than worrying about what carriers offer access in what area.
3 I don't know anyone that has one, but I think that feature that you can set it to call only Mom & Dad (or whoever) is wonderful...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
