I like answering a question and finding it has helped someone. It reminds me of my work in libraries. I wish it would be less personal when I disagree with some.

I could like them as people and still think they are wrong. After all, nobody is right all the time. That is not so much fun.

We could all learn better ways to discuss issues where we do not agree. If we do, that could be a contribution to others.

I may not be here alot and I don't answer alot of questions, but I love reading everyones opinion. I have learned alot from this site. And sometimes I even get to get a laugh.

But, something keeps bringing me back - just not for as long or often as in the past. Certain people (yeah, Squeeky you're one of them! ) still make the place fun.

Not the way it use to be squeeky, I miss the interaction that we had on DB's. It's impossible to do that now. Remember when DB's could keep going for 5 or 6 days?

Now you can't even get one going for a few hours because people can't see when you respond to another person. However, I still really do like answering questions. That keeps me coming back.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
